Unknown Pains

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience or if anyone knows anything about the following symtoms. Two started about the same time and the other one awhile ago.

Firstly, since about two days ago, I have had a horrible throat pain whenever swallowing, and sometimes when moving or breathing. I compare this pain to strep throat but it's not quite like that, has more of a burning sensation. Today it has evolved into not only a throat pain, but a flowing pain right down to the chest about heart level.

Secondly (though i'm pretty sure this may be mastoiditis), my mastoid (i say this assuming the mastoid is the bone behind my ear) has swollen up over the past couple weeks, or month. Wondering what that might be related to.

My own speculation on this is saturday morning I took a bath, and when washing my hair, it felt like some water went into my ear (the one with the swollen mastoid) a bit further than water normally does. Later that day the sore throat showed up. Related?

Please if anyone could give their comments, or expertise on this i'd be very glad (especially when I rid of the chest and throat pain).

Well the arn nose and thorat are all related. So the water going into your injured ear might have triggered your sore throat again. An ent dcotor could help with this. Pain in the ear may be a sign of infection. Good lcuk and keep me posted.
