Could you tell me why my husband's semen is so thick with a strong smell?

Possible epididumitus, or another infection. Could just be him. If you suspect infection, have him visit your family doc or go to a urologist.

Semen texture and thickness changes from man to man. It can also change with age, or depending on sexual activity. Scent will also change from man to man. If it is a very strong bitter odour, it's possible it is an infection. However, it is also dependant on taste. A vegetarian man will taste sweeter, a meat eater will have a strong / sharp taste and smell. Hope this helps, justin
