Anyone Out There?

I posted about a week ago but no responses... :(

hi all, I don’t know much about cosmetic surgery and don’t know where to start so I am trying this forum for help. I would like to get liposuction done on my stomach, thighs, sides of the butt, upper arms, sides under arm and under chin. I have a few questions regarding these procedures:

1. How do I find out names of at least 3 good surgeons in the northern california area?

2. How do I do research on these surgeons to find out how good they are? Is there a place you can go to see their records (like success rates and problems).

3. How much I should expect to spend and how long will recovery take?

4. What are the complications for these procedures?

Hi there

1. The best way to find out names of at least 3 good surgeons in the northern california area is to search on the internet. You can also ask women who have had plastic surgery, but for that you have to find them...

2. You can do research on these surgeons to find out how good they are on their sites. Any plastic surgeon who respects himself has a web site and there you can see different cases....Pre and postoperative pictures...This way you see if you like how the surgeon works.

3. You should expect for the operation to cost quite a bit. Unfortunately I can't tell you a number, but once you find plastic surgeon sites, you can send an e-mail and find that out.
As for the recovery,it shouldn't take long...A few days in bed but about two weeks before doing any effort or so.

4. The complications are hematomas and infections, and depending on the type of anesthesia paralysis may occur. But these complication seldom occur, so I would't worry.

Good luck.
