"the" Tablets!!!
Posted: 03-29-05 17:51pm

Heya everyone im a 16yr old male and I have been suffering from acne for a couple of years. I get it mainly on my face, chest, upper arms and back. I was really upset with how I was and was too embarassed to talk to my parents about it. One day I had had enough and told my mum about it who was very understanding. She booked me into my doctors and he has put me on some tablets. They are called "oxytetracyline" and I have been on them for around 2 months. I am very pleased with the outcome because I have already cleared up very well and ppl often comment on how it has cleared. I still have spots on my back and arms mainly but because it was so bad my doc said it would take a few months to start to work and it has....I am so pleased.

So my advice to anyone who is in the same postition as me is to not be embarrased about it.....You have it so its beter to get it sorted. Its not like your the only one...Nealry everyone gets it. Also u will find ppl are always helpfull n kind about it so it makes u feel better.

Good luck ppl
