Were you a virgin before you had sex? You will bleed for awhile and it will go away, nothing to worry about . If you keep bleeding I would go see your doctor.

Yes, both or us wre virgins. I have heard of my friends talk about it but I never knew how long some of them were just a little others were alot. So I never knew if this was right or if there was someting wrong with me. Why is it different for every person?

Yes, I thought it did. I didn't think it would be that uncomfortable but it was I guess it just takes a few times before it starts to feel good.

I had sex for the first time and bled just a little. A few days later I bled a lot more (I think my hymen broke this time?). I've had sex about 3 or 4 more times and I've bled a little bit each time. Every post that I've read has said that they bleed continuously for a couple of days, but I only bleed during intercourse and then I'm fine after that. Is this all normal?

Bleeding the first few times you have sex is completely normal. Some women even experience it every now and again after they've been having sex for years when their cervix becomes particularly irritated from intercourse.

What hurts during sex? Is it coming from inside you when your partner goes deep? If so, your partner is most likely large enough to hit against your cervical opening. Switching positions or just simply letting him know not to go so deep in that position will help. Also, your cervix changed position throughout the month and sometimes it will be lower than others, making it easier for it to become irritated by sex. This often will cause slight bleeding right after sex.

If you notice that the pain is not coming from deep within you but instead around the outside/opening of your vagina, than that most likely can be lessened with proper lubrication. Foreplay (gooood foreplay Laughing) really is necessary for a woman to enjoy sex. It takes a few minutes for our genitals to become aroused and for our bodies to produce enough natural lubrication to make penetration easier. If you do feel as if you were fully aroused when this pain took place, than try using lubricant (you can get several different kinds at walmart) next time. It should really ease the friction against your vaginal opening during sex and make the experience more enjoyable over all.

And last but not least, please make sure you are letting your partner know that you are experiencing a bit of pain with sex. Everything going on with you is completely normal, and I'm sure your partner does not want to hurt you. Letting him know to take it a little easier or give you more time to really "get ready" shouldn't be a problem for him. Good luck hun, and let us know how it goes.

Just coming from the other side: My first time i didn't bleed at all! But i have heard that a lot of people do. I made him put a towel down the first time cause i thought i was going to bleed all over the place. So chances are i prolly broke mine when i started using tampons. It didn't hurt to bad for me....but i made sure that he knew to take it very VERY slow! ...and he did. But like The Mrs said i'm sure he doesn't want to hurt you, so just let him know, he should be more than willing to take it very slow and not so deep. which reminds me, i prolly said "owey" a few times during intercourse cause he went a little deep. Prolly hitting my cervix! So then he got the hang of it, and stayed back lol

BUT GOOD LUCK HUN!

My first time I didn't bleed at all, and it didn't hurt either! We used lube to help out so there wouldn't be a lot of pain

I didnt bleed on my 1st time but thats due to a few possible things. 1st im a horse rider, second i used yampons, and 3rd i had used vibrators etc.
I had no pain at all my 1st time and actually really enjoyed it. I think a lot depends on the person really.

My first time was REALLY painful. My hymen broke but it only bled a little. It was watery too and only lasted a few hours.

Don't worry, it doesn't hurt or bleed forever. It will be very enjoyable soon.

ANY time you have unprotected sex, there is going to be a possibility of pregnancy.
If you don't want to get pregnant, use protection.
Condoms.
Or you can go to planned parenthood/free clinic to get free/discounted birth control pills.
You really need to at least use condoms because of the risk of catching a sexually transmitted disease.
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are the most common diseases among teenagers.
It is because a lot of people (mainly men) don't show symptoms and don't know they have it and are spreading it.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE protect yourself.

I'm not saying you ARE pregnant, I'm saying if you are having unprotected sex, pregnancy is inevitable. You need to be using condoms and/or birth control pills.
Be responsible.
FYI-people lie and they cheat....and they lie about cheating.

Not everyone experiences pain.
I did.
Not everyone has a cherry to pop either.

I didn't hurt or bleed my first time. Perpetuating the myth of the "cherry" and a hymen representing virginity is harmful towards women.
