Did I Take the Hpt Too Early?? Please Read>> Posted: 03-29-05 18:05pm
Mar. 6 I started a new pack of pills but
idk if I even started them right .. Then
on mar. 9 and 18 I had unprotected sex
well since idk if the birth control counts
since I think I started them wrong. But I
got brownish/ pinkish spotting on mar. 21
and off and on for about a week.I heard
that it could be implantation bleeding.
Im not sure of the exact date im suppose
to get my peroid just inbetween mar.28 and
apr.3 .. I took a hpt mar. 28 but it
came up neg. Did I take the test too
early? Or was the spotting my peroid?
What should I do? Sorry for this being so
long.

You might have taken it too early. Try to
wait atleast another week or 2 if you
period doesn't show then take another

I am basically in the same situation.
With the pill and all, and since i've
always been on depo I called the dr to get
it again. Well I had to of course take a
test, even though I had taken one already
(it was neg) and well my test came back
with a 79 it needs to be 2 or less to be
positive that its a negative, I have to go
back in a week to test again and see if
the levels have risen.
