I started to have contractions late monday night, so I called the dr and he said that if they do not let up in the next hour, then come to the hospital. I layed back down and tried changing positions. The contractions kept coming and my lower back started to ache bad. My husband said lets go to the hospital we got there around 12:45 am and they imediatley put me in a room and started the monitors to record the baby's heart rate and my contractions. The nurse then gave me a pelvic exam, she said oh my god the babys head is so low!!! She could feel it. I was not dialated at all but she says my cervix was thinning out.... She went to call the doctor and he said I needed to stay there over night and I needed to be put on a iv so I would remained hydrated. My contractions were off and on and around 5 am I had contractions like every 3 to 5 min. Then they finally let up. The doctor came in around 7 am and gave me another pelvic exam and said I still was not dialated. He asked me when was my next appt. And I told him the next morning. He said no sex to stay off my feet as much as I could. Today I had my Dr.Appt and they checked the heart beat and measured me......I told the doctor......I was in the hospital and everything that happened she didnt even check to see if I had dialated.... I left and called my husband and told him he was not happy so he called and talked to the drs nurse...Turns out the dr did not put anything in my chart about being in the hospital and that if I felt I needed to come in I should. Well about an hour ago my tummy keeps getting tight and hard and I feel alot of pressure on my.....I can feel the baby pushing. I have two questions....If the nurse can feel the babys head doesnt that mean the baby has already dropped? And why wouldnt the dr atleast check me to see if I had dialated? I am almost 32 weeks. Could I be going into labor soon. I just tried calling the Dr. I had to leave a message
