Well there is social anxiety disorder and
anxiety attacks. If your doctor is lying
and you suspect, switch to a different one
immediately. Or try being honest with
him/ her. After all their job is to make
sure your healthy and help you if you're
not.

You always have a right to a second
opinion. If you are having a lot of
anxiety it can lead to other health
issues. You do need to be upfront with
the doctors.
Sincerely,
sandy

Why should a doctor lie? You can look for
another opinion. I'm with sandyallen it
might be another health issue. I had a
lot of health problems. Suddenly I found
my self stressed,anxiety and depressed.
I started to lose my family. I consulted
my doctor to save my family life. She
told me this symptoms of anxiety and
deppresion is part of my lupus symptoms.
I have sle systematic lupus
erythramatosis. I started with effexor to
treat my anxiety in smaller dosage. That
was 2 years ago. I'm fine and appreciated
my doctors'help. You have to trust your
doctor, if you are not satisfied you can
look for another one.

I think a doctor might lie when he does
not know the answer or the full answer to
your questions or problems.
It's a new website that I launched and I
would appriciate any kind of feedback
about it and the idea in general.
Thanks!

I am also a hypocondriac, and now on paxil
for the past four years, I can tell you
that the more tests they do the more money
they make, so I highly disagree they would
lie. Also with this disorder, you
constantly think your gonna die or
something is wrong, believe me I know I
always worried that the Dr. Didn't do
enough or look at this long enough or
whatever, but it's never a bad thing to
get a second opinion anyways, but i'm sure
everything is o.K. Are you on any meds?
Paxil really, really helps. It doesn't
cure it and if you get supper supper
stressed it can come back, but I only had
two small outbreaks in four years so it's
worth it. I used to cry all the time
thinking I was dying or going to any bump,
bruise, or pain was cancer, I don't worry
anymore and I feel soooo much more normal.
If your not on anything talk to Dr. They
really can help with this.
