Hello all, im a new user here. Let me
give a breif background of myself:
for the past month I have noticed small
bumps at the base of my shaft. I was not
worried until I first noticed a couple
more appear in the same area.
I immediately scheduled a checkup.
Sadly, it appears I have contracted the
hpv virus. I am ok with knowing that I
am "stuck" with this virus for life, but
would like to start exploring different
methods of treatment.
The school I attend is offering liquid
nitrogen removal for the cost of
$25/semester. This includes as many
treatments as necessary.
My main concern is that this will be
painful and leave scars, therefore I am
looking for other methods of treatment.
So far I have been recommended the cream
aldara, which seems promising. But this
cream is very expensive and far exceeds my
budget. I have also seen ads on webmd
for creams such as:
my question for the forum's members:
--have you had any luck with any specific
type of treatment?
--which type of treatment would you
recommend?
--from your experience, how long have
warts stayed away after use of treatment?
Which treatment did you use?
Thank you all for viewing my post.
Hopefully this post will not just help me,
but others with this dilemma as well!
Take care,
college_student

They are very small bumps with a pinkish
color to them.

Make sure before you have intercourse with
any woman, you tell them you have low-risk
hpv. Even if you wear a condom they can
be spread and it is only fair that they
have the choice of whether to contract
them or not.
I would get them burnt off for the time
being. If done correctly, they won't
scar.
