Showing Already. Twins? Posted: 03-31-05 22:02pm
Hi,
i've never sent anything on a forum
before...
Anyways, i'm fairly certain i'm only 8 or
9 weeks into my second pregnancy, and i've
already started showing- i've heard you
show sooner with your second, but this is
outrageous.
I've had awful morning (all day and night)
sickness, which is just starting to get
better now, so it's not like i've had any
appetite and just started putting on
weight already.
I was never very sick with my first.
I know it's probably stupid to start
comparing pregnancies, but seriously this
is insane.
My grandmother had 2 sets of twins, my
husbands grandmother was a twin. What do
you think the likelihood of there being
more than one in there?

Twin's has nothing to do witht he father's
side at all. As far as you having htem
it's possible. Did you have an hcg lvl
done with your blood? If there was a
concern for twins they would have gone
ahead and done an u/s and been more
concerned about it. If you need to go
ahead and say something to your dr at the
appointment. :)

Hey, that was quick ! Thanks.
Yeah - i'm waiting on the resluts of the
quantitive hcg, or hgc test, whichever it
is. I just can't stand the suspense !
Perhaps it's normal to have an early belly
with your second?
My mother told me you get bigger each
time, and by the time you have your third,
you're in maternity clothes before you
even miss a period !!!
I guess i'll find out soon either way.

They skip generations so you never

Other than that it could just be bad
sickness and water retention

Showing Already-twins? Posted: 04-13-05 20:09pm
Hi,
sorry was ages getting back to anyone- I
couldn't log in for some reason, and i'm
still not sure this reply is going to go
to the right place.
I did get the results back, but apparently
hgc levels vary so much they were'nt sure,
so I ended up having an ultrasound after
all.
There's just the one 8) but every
thing's ok, so I guess i'm just plain
big.
I have no idea of my weight before I was
pregnant or now- I have never owned set
of scales
my clothes are fitting the same, I haven't
gone up a size or anything it's just I
have a nice bump in them !
At least i'll be finished with the "do I
pull my skirt up over or try and push it
under" fat stage and straight to the yep
i'm pregnant aren't I glorious stage
quicker than last time.
"talk" to you again soon !

Ultrasounds are pretty reliable to tell
you whether or not your having twins,
unless one is hiding!! I doubt it
htough! Good luck hun!! You should post
some pics!!
