I haven't read about this liquid diet or
anything, but by the sounds of it, it's
really unhealthy. You say that in the
past 2 you've consumed nothing but a hot
chocolate? At least that's what I
understood from that. First off, hot
chocolate is probably not what you want to
drink if you're trying to lose weight.
Secondly, hot chocolate by no means
provides you with the vitamins you need.
The reason you're feeling tired could be
because you're annemic. Again, I haven't
read about this... But it really doesn't
sound healthy, unless you're possibly
drinking lots of vitamin supplement
drinks, and even then. Fruits, etc are
good to eat, but remember, even fruits
contain sugar. If you want my advice,
forget that liquid diet thing, and just go
back to eating healthy. Try to aim for
only 1 piece of fruit a day, no juices, as
people have a hard time controling just
how much juice they intake. Although you
can bend that if you feel it's necessary.
V8 juice is a great suspitute for fruit
juice, the original blend, not that splash
stuff. Try to keep dinner to around 300
calories, you can buy frozen dinners from
michalenas which are only about 280
calories each, eat as much salad and
vegetables as you want, just avoid
potatoes. You' don't want to lose weight
too quickly, or else you could end up with
many health problems, and deprive your
body of nutrience. Just recently i've
started (after consulting my doctor) a
vitamin supplement bar program thing. I
eat 1 bar for breakfast, 1 for lunch, and
a dinner under 300 calories. Roughly
consuming 750 calories/day. There's more
rules and stuff which i've been bending,
but still, despite cheating by drinking
alchahol, having the odd piee of chocolate
or coke here and there, i've still managed
to lose on average 3lbs per week getting
no additional excercise other than the
basic walking required to get from point a
to point b. So far i've experienced no
ill effects, and I appear to be doing fine
on it. But don't bother depriving
yourself of food, otherwise your body will
start to presserve it's fat as a survival
instinct. On average a human can only
last for about 3 weeks without food (3
days without water). Although i'm not
sure if that's due to lack of vitamins,
etc, or just because there isn't enough
calories being taken in to survive, or
whatever. Just find a love for salad,
broccoli, chicken, and eggs and stick to
that and you should do fine, especialy if
excercising. Just remember, muscle
weighs more than fat, so even if you're
not losing weight, you'll still be losing
fat and replacing it with muscle.
Because of this, I wouldn't recommend
weighing yourself, as it will just upset
you to learn that even after a week of
excercise, you're the same weight, just
keep at it and eventualy you'll start to
notice that you'll appear thinner and
generaly healthier.
Hehe, woops, sorry, meant to post this in
the thread by the person asking if her
liquid diet thing was healthy :p
