Okay, I seem to have become prone to utis
in the past year and a half. Since
january of this year, i've had two, and
now feel like I may be getting another.
Is there something that could be wrong
with me, making me get them so much now?
My doctors never seem to worry, and
haven't ever sat me down and told me
anyways to prevent them. So I called my
gyno and she sent me a pamphlet, but most
of that info I already knew. Any
advice, please let me know!!

Did you start having sex or change
partners in the past year and a half? I
got recurring uti's with a boyfriend once.
Realized he wasn't washing his hands and
stuff before touching me. Also helped to
pee right after. Haven't had one
since...Also started dating someone else
though. Hmmm

Nope, I have been with my boyfriend for
over four years, and we are not having
sex. But when we do other stuff, I
always make sure his hands are washed, and
I do try and pee after. Thanks for the
info though! I went to the doc yesterday
to see if I have one now, and I will get
the results back today. If I do have
another one, or probably even if I don't,
i'm going to try and talk to a doctor
about if there is anything else I can do
to prevent them. Thanks!

I have interstitial cystitis. It took me
7 years to get a diagnosis.
Do you have uti symptoms that never go
away? Frequency and urge? Pain? Feel
like you are losing your mind? Take
heart. I understand.
You can find out alot of info at the all
info about interstitial cystitis website
