Hi, I was wondering if someone in the
medical field can answer my question. I
had sex with my girlfriend who was
currently on the depo shot, which its
effectiveness terminated on april 2nd
2005. The dose ended sometime during the
day and we had sex at 2:00am april 3rd.
Although I didnot use a condom , I did
pull out. Is there a possibility that she
could get pregnant or would the dose still
have an effectiveness for a bit after the
proposed date of the actual shot?

The depo is really unreliable as to when
it's effectiveness wears off.. Depending
on the woman and her natural hormones..
You should have been more carefull
although it is unlikely she is preg the
possibility is there.. Use other forms of
protection till she gets her period back,
this can take up to 2 years.. A preg test
will give a result in 2-4 weeks but that
can also be unreliable.. Mabe the morning
after pill..
Hope this helps

I was put on depo and to came off it me
and my bf had sex several times after I
didnt go back and get my second shot and
he came in me but im not pregnant but I
guess it all depends on the person and how
long it takes to wear off so she shouldnt
be pregnant.

I know each womans different but let me
warn you when she wants to come off the
injection she may have a lot of trouble
with her cycle and trying to get pregnant.
It took 6 months for me just to get a
period and now there all over the place.
