Is This Something to Do With My Heart?
Posted: 04-07-05 17:44pm

Hello. I'd like to thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

About 2 years ago I started getting pains in my left arm. I went to the doctor and after some things I told him he suggested it would be because of my ability to drink a lot of caffiene in a day. So I stopped. They went for a while but then came back.

Anyway the last time they got really bad I went to see the doctor again. He did an ecg and my heart rate was fine, and so was my blood pressure. He noticed that my neck was a little misshapen or something, and suggested that a problem with my neck could be causing these pains.

It's not just left arm pain either, I occasionally get minor sharp pains in my heart area, sometimes dull also. My heart beats faster, but i'm guessing that's because I get so panicky when it happens. I have trouble sleeping because whenever I lean myself on that part of the body, something starts hurting! Also occasionally I can feel the blood flowing in my left harm for just a second. Like the blood is trapped but suddenly let free if you know what I mean. Almost like a pop.

I'm only 19, I don't smoke or drink, and I eat almost healthily. I'm just wondering if this could be to do with the neck problem that the doctor originally mentioned. I believe he also mentioned a slightly misshapen rib as well! I can't remember it was so long ago now.

Just a suggestion for you about this. You make seek out a good chiropractor to check your neck.
