Opinions Needed!!!!
Posted: 04-11-05 14:53pm

My last period was a week and a half late and I had the worst cramps of my life. It lasted the regular amount of days and was average flow. 9 days later (after my period ended) I started to get brownish with a little tiny bit reddish blood, but mainly brown. (sorry for being graphic!!) and it has been going on for three days now. Its not a heavy flow at all but enough to make me worry! I have searched on the internet for what this could possibly be because I have always had very regular periods with no spotting in between ever!! I also have to mention that I am sexually active with my boyfriend for three years now and he has been my only partner and vice versa for him. Not a big chance of an std!!!
If anyone has suggestions or knows some possibilities they would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!

Just An Opinion

Hi! My personal opinion is that you should go ahead and see a doctor.
As i'm a person who has had a three year battle with vaginal cancer, I recommend to all my friends to have a regular pap done once a year, religiously. In addition, any time there is anything new or out of the ordinary going on, you should go ahead and get checked. The description of "mostly brown discharge" implies old blood. Not that I am a doctor, but this could signify a cyst of some sort along with several other things. I do not mean to scare you, as a cyst usually corrects itself in time. But, you really should she a doctor. Please do not procrastinate about it.

I am someone who cares.
