Hi I just found out officially through a
blood test that I am pregnant. I am at 4
weeks. The doctor said all my levels
seem good. In december, I was 6 weeks
pregnant and I miscarried. Right now, I
am having some lower back pain. That
didn't happen to me the first time.
Maybe it is a good sign : ) is the lower
back pain this early in pregnancy normal?
Has anyone else had that happen?
Thanks!

I've heard of lower back pain further
along, due to the weight being put on your
belly. But never in the beginning. If
you're really that worried about it, I
would suggest getting to the drs or
calling htem to see what they ahve to say.
I do have to say that the back pain
isn't a sign of miscarriage though....If
that makes you feel any better. :)

I sometimes have back pain, but i'm 22
weeks along now....I'm not sure if I
remember having pain early on though?? I
would call the doctor's office just for
peace of mind...But i'm sure it's okay!

Back Pain In Pregnancy Posted: 04-13-05 13:54pm
I have been having back pain since I can
remember getting pregnant...U need to see
ur doctor, make sure you ask him for a
urine analysis test, tell him to check ur
ketones and proteins and check for blood
in ur urine. I have did that only to
find out I needed an ultrasound to check
for kidney stones, they didn't find any
but my blood in my urine has been rising
every week which is making us wonder if
i'm not suffering from preeclampsia or
something else with my kidney's or
bladder..Just give him (ur doc) a heads up
about these things in case he doesn't
think of them himself. Preeclampsia if
not treated is a very serious condition.
