My period has always been regular(4-5 days of bleeding every 28-30 days)my period is now 7 days late, on what should have been day 6 I had a couple hours of spotting, but nothing since. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant? How long should I wait before taking another test?

My best friend took 4 tests, all weeks apart, and they all came back negative. About a month a half later (when she didn't get period for about 2 weeks) she took another and it came back positive. She was over a month pregnant by then. So just because you got a negative doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. Give it another week or so if you don't get your period, then try again. If you're still convinced you're pregnant, i'd get a blood test done. Good luck!
