I know I will probably not be taken
seriously, because of my age of 15, but I
have an idea. We were studying viruses in
biology at my school and a thought occured
to me. Why doesn't some viruses
accidently go into a cell that already has
viruses, I mean it is not like they can
tell? Then I thought, what if the virus
occupying a cell blocked other viruses
from entering? If so then if the cells
were already occupied by a harmless virus
(like a genetically engineered one) then
the aids virus might not be able to
spread.

Well, that's not the way it works with
retrovirus and hiv progression. It's too
complicated to get into the exact science
and you should ask such questions to your
biology teacher.
I am impressed by your theory, but I know
that it is flawed (i know of the
scientific findings). Here's my advise.
If your're 15 and are thinking about
creating a cure, be my guest. You may be
the one it is named after. Keep
thinking!

Brfpyro14,
i am truly impressed with your
thinking...This is the thinking of a great
person.
When you have a theory like this, research
it further and see if it is even
possible...And if not...Perhaps the basic
idea of it may be good, and just a few
adjustments need be made.
It is my belief that all things are
cureable...So don't ever give up.
Peace
