Man my little guy has been kicking me like
there is no tomorrow!!! Its so
incredible! Its like his way of telling
me he is doing okay!
I also was going to ask anyone who has
already just recently had their babies or
is due soon if they noticed when they lost
their mucus plug. I think I may have the
other day it was really snotty like. Did
anyone notice theirs? My doctor said as
long as there was no blood I was okay, you
can lose your plug anywhere from 1 to 3
weeks before delivery. Let me know.

Replying to Your Question Posted: 04-29-05 21:37pm
Hello. I'm new here and I just thought
i'd respond to your question. I'm 32
weeks pregnant, and as your pregnancy
progresses, it gets more mucusy and runny
and all that stuff. I've had an
experience the other night where I thought
I might have lost mine, there was no blood
though so it probably wasn't the actual
plug. I'm guessing that it's probably
not, unless it's a great amount or has
blood with it. I don't know for sure
though. This is my first baby, so
everything's new to me. =)

I am now 38 weeks pregnant and always
looking out for that darn plug, I can't
wait till this is all over, as I am in the
fed up stage, but yup the plug is supposed
to be bloddy so as you experience a lot of
discharge you will find yourself looking
for that plug and wondering if it will
come or not.
I had my chance to find out what the sex
of my baby was when I went for my 24 week
scan...But I chose not to as I like
surprises and I was mainly conserned about
it's health more than anything, cuz at
your 24 week scan that is called the
>> abnormality scan, where you find
out everything, and if your baby is in
full health or not. I was scared at the
time, she asked me if I wanted to know
what the baby was...I said no straight
away, then she smailed and said..."well
you have one healthy baby nothing detected
here" the scan took some time but it is
known as the big one.....Good thing about
that scan is the jelly used on your tummy
was warm.....Unlike the jelly used on your
normal scan freezing cold!!!!

My plug on first kid came out around 3
weeks previos and it is like snotty slimy
and blood tinged, not bleeding. Just
blood in it. With second child it came
out end of sept and I dint have her until
dec 1, it came out in 2 or 3 different
times in 2 or 3 days. Same blood tinged,
slimy and mucusy. I did loose something
2 weeks before I had her like slimy green,
and they said it was poop from the baby
came out threw hole im my bag. I leaked
water from my bag the whole last month.
Strange huh?? Third child end of aug
and dint have until oct 30. So I was not
the norm.

they told me and my husband at 13 weeks,
but they said they were not sure. At my
20wk check they confirmed it. I was so
scared b/c my husband had been buying
things for a little boy after that first
visit. And I was so sure they were going
to be wrong and he would not be as happy
about a little girl. Dont get me wrong he
would have loved her, but he had already
got his hopes up. So yeah at 12-wks and
up they can tell the little boys

what type of scan did you get? I have
gotten 3 ultrasounds at this point (i am
34 weeks) & although they tell me
everything "looks great" they refuse to
tell me that the baby is healthy. He
looks healthy not he is healthy. They
say there really is no true way of
knowing.
