My daughter had two tests today for preg.
Both the urine and blood test were
negative,but she took a change only 10
days ago. She has no signs of her period
starting at all.Do you think its possible
to still have a postive tset in this next
week and her hormone level is maybe low.
Hoping shes not but will be there for her
if she is.She says she has the support of
the guy either way,first guy she ever had
sex with. They are planning to get
married in 2 years. Just a worried mom

It is possible that it is too early to
detect the pregnancy hormone. You say
she had a blood test done, what did the
doctor say?
It is possible that the hormone level was
too low to detect. It is also possible
that she is just skipping a period or two.
I did not notice an age, but I am
assuming she is a teenager. A lot of
things can affect a teenagers normal
cycle. Has she lost weight, stopped or
started a sport, under stress? I would
continue the tests until she started a
period.
