i am 20 years old and in january was
playing a football match when I suffered a
dead leg after a collision. The pain went
after a few days but about a week later I
noticed a lump on my upper thigh, not sure
if the dead leg had anything to do with
the lump and maybe it was a
co-insidence?
The lump is completely painless and can
only be felt when I tence my thigh in a
certain way! The lump is quite hard and
is about 1" x 1" maybe slightly bigger?
I would appreciate any feedback as to what
the problem might be and weather I should
consult my local gp?
It sounds like a lipoma. This is a
benign, fatty growth. It can easily be
removed. It will not hurt to not have it
removed, but it may become painful over
time. Either way, I would just have my
physicain look at it.
