Hi! I'm a bit concerned... I am on
yasmin, and doing the sunday start.
During the week of my sugar pills, when I
should get my period, it doesn't start
until very late in the week. (the first
month started on friday, the next couple
started on saturday, and then the next
couple didn't start until sunday -- the
day that I started taking my new pack of
pills). I know that everyone starts
differently, but is this unusual? Also,
today is sunday, and I was on the sugar
pills last week, and just took a pill out
of my new pack tonight. I still have not
started my period, and I do not have any
cramping or symptoms of starting. I have
taken my pills very regularly, at the same
time every day (around 8:30 pm, I even
have an alarm that goes off each night to
remind me), and have not missed one pill.
Does this sound normal to you? We did
have sex on friday night, and i'm
concerned that since it was so late in the
week (while on sugar pills without
starting my period) that I could become
pregnant. Also, I don't know if this
matters, but I have always been extremely
irregular with periods my whole life
(varying from 5-8 weeks between cycles).
Any advice would be appreciated! I'm
kind of nervous I could be pregnant!

Yeah, that is late in the week. To be
honest, i'm not sure that is normal or
not. I would really recommend talking to
your doctor's nurse about it.
Did you just start taking yasmin? That
could make a difference. If you just
started a few months ago it's possible
that your body is still regulating to the
hormones since you say you've been
irregular. I think I would still call
the nurse though...
