I haven't been diagnosed with epilepsy
yet, but am scheduled for a sleep deprived
eeg next month. I don't know what else
these things could be, although I have had
tests for over 2 1/2 years trying to find
out what it is. The docs thought maybe
it was cardiac, and they did an
echocardiogram, and they found an aneurysm
in my aorta. I had open heart surgery
last fall to correct this, but the docs
said that it wasn't the cause of my dizzy
spells. Btw, they continue.
I just had one about an hour ago, maybe
less. I was at work, and got extremely
dizzy and lightheaded. I thought I
would blackout, but concentrated on not
doing that. I still am in a fog, and I
hear ringing in my ears. I checked my
bp immediately afterward, and it was
138/88. I am on high bp meds.
Sorry, didn't finish my original post, the
boss came in!
Does anyone else have anything similar?
Other times, I get deja vu, or see things
that may have happened already or will
happen, or so it seems. I see what
sounds like an "aura" prior to these
things too. Any comments from anyone?
