Hello, everyone. My wife and I found out
we are pregnant about a month ago. I
plan on being as involved as humanly
possible, but I may have done too much
research for my own good.
My wife began to show a little bit at 6
weeks. She's now at 10 weeks, and
wearing maternity clothes. At first, I
thought she was just being dramatic.
Now, after doing some research, i'm
genuinely worried. She just got over
what we interpreted as severe morning
sickness. She would vomit 2-5 times /
day. That went on for about a month.
She was also extremely tired, which I
figured was normal. She was asleep by
7:30 or 8pm every night.
Now, in my research I have found out about
molar pregnancies. I've worried myself
to death because of how sick she was and
how she showed early. The thing is, I
wouldn't think her breasts would get
bigger or she would be so tired if there
wasn't an embryo in there developing.
Can someone calm my nerves or give me some
facts to hold me over until our doctor's
appointment?
Thanks.

if when seh went to the drs and when they
did the hcg lvl testing, if it showed up
higher than normal they would have worried
about twins and sent her in to get an u/s
early to confirm it. Now if she hasn't
been to the dr yet, I would suggest her
getting an appointment. Sytomps for a
preganncy don't change with twins, besides
showing sooner...But depending on the
woman's body you can show sooner as well.
I'd suggest her getting to the dr sooner.
I doubt it's a molar.

At 6 weeks your not really "showing" your
just bloated, and cramped up. There's
nothing in there to "show". Some women
get extreme nasuea, in my case I was
throwing up about 3 times a day as well.

Congratulations. Has she started her
pre-natal vitamins, sometimes one brand of
pre-natal vitamins do not always agree,
their are other brands to choose from.
Some of this may be normal but I also
agree with the post above and that is to
get checked out w/the Dr. Hang in
there.
The best to you all!
Sandy
