I have gone through extreme anxiety over
the last few months, i'm a bit of a
hypochonriac.
It started with a pain in my testicle. I
had this check, nothing.
Kidneys worked properly, all other organs
were okay (ultrasound was done).
One week after stressing over the testicle
pain, the pain moved itself to the area a
little lower than the appendix area.
Went to er thinking it was my appendix.
This pain then travelled up into the
fleshy area between the ribs and hip bone
on the side. Now the pain often goes
into my ribs and when I press them they
are sometimes tender. When the pain goes
away, so does the tenderness.
Even after a million tests, I am still
worried about my kidney as I read kidney
trouble is referred as pain elsewhere.
All the pains have been on the right side,
and occasional left.
I believe I had ulcers before and they
found h pylori in my blood which is
hopefully gone now.
During this time I had all the classic
anxiety symptoms, mentioned here.
But can the above be anxiety related?
I found one place on the net that said
after panic attacks you can experience
weird abdominal travelling pains, but
lately I have kind of learned to relax.
Its just when the pain shows up, I begin
to worry again. The pain is never really
that serious (although once it was about a
7/10) its usually about 5/10 on the
classic pain scale

I used to have such a fear of my kidney
failing, I kept going to the Dr. And they
were o.K. Dr. Said if you can pea
kidney's are fine. Also from anxity you
can have all kinds of pain and especially
if your I hypo like me, you notice pain
more then someone else would. Most people
srug it off unless its constant and 10/10.
Also I had appendix removed believe me if
it's that you'll know. But to your
question yes it is normal your body gets
more tense and your breath faster and your
adrenaline goes so you can get all kinds
of aces and pains. What was in your
blood? What is that?

The pain doesnt stop me from doing
anything. I notice it mostly when I am
sitting doing nothing. I am worried
about the same thing as you were, kidney
trouble. It such an annoying problem.
When I start noticing it, it will often
change my mood from good to all out
anxiety
helicobacter pylori was found in my blood.
Its a bacteria that causes ulcers and
stomach cancers. It is actually quite
common. I am especially worried since my
dads-dad died of stomach cancer, my dad
had ulcers (he passed away with something
else) and now I have this bacteria. I am
23 now and swear I had ulcers since I was
about 13 years old but never saw anyone as
they went away.
I also just learned my moms friend had
stomach ulcers all here life and was just
diagnosed with stomach cancer.
All this stuff doesnt help me at all.

Well I guess the best thing to do is try
not worrying so much I know it's hard, but
that's what causes ulcers and just make
sure to keep getting checked for them,
there are medicines they can give you.
Finding out all that stuff really does
make it hard not to worry I totally
understand . I wish I could help I know
what it's like

Anxiety does give you weird pains all
over. Well, it does me anyway. All I
can really tell you is since you have had
everything tested and you are fine, try
not to worry. This may be a personal and
gross question, but do you "go" regularly?
With anxiety, you can get ibs (either
with constipation, or the runs) and it
causes all sorts of stomach pains, lower
stomach pains, back pain, etc. And when
you are really "backed up" that really,
really hurts. It hurts in the kidney
area, appendix area, ribs, and all over.
So, maybe try taking a laxative or
something and see if after a day or so,
you feel any better? Just an idea.
Didn't mean to gross you out.
But, anyway, I hope you find a way to stop
worrying. I have lately been worried
about my breathing and when I worry about
it, I have trouble doing it. I almost
passed out driving home last night. I
hate anxiety!
