Ok if you are having your period then no, you can not be pregnant. You may have a hormonal imbalance though, if your breasts hurt and you are having bleeding breakthrough then most likely you have to much estrogen in your system. If you are taking birth control pills consider taking a different dose or a different type of pill all togather. If this still happens go see your doctor.

I have a question for you.. I've read alot of advice you have given and you seem to know what your talking about.. Hopefully you can help me.. Ok I had intercorse on the dec. 17th (with protection) then I had my period 2 days later on the 19th of dec.... I had unprotected intercorse on the 19 and 20 while on my period. I didn't have sex agian until dec. 31 and jan 1 and 2.. I found out I was preggo on jan. 14... I had an ultrasound on feb 15 which said I was 7 weeks and 6 days.. However my Dr. Told me I was most likely concieved on dec. 31.. But when I counted back from the ultra sound it landed on the 21 of dec. So i'm confused I was on my period on dec. 21.. What my question is what do you think my chances are of getting pregnant 2 days before my period.. As far as I know the condom did not break.. Thank you so much.. Oh I have an ultrasound on the 28th of april do where they will go in and therally measure the baby do you think that will help

I know i'm not the one you asked this to, but when I was pregnant, I asked the Dr. How acurate the ultrasound is and they said it could be a week eaithr way, so more likely it was the 31st, because I don't think you ovulate that quickly after a period, especially if your periods are regular, so when they do the ultrasound it might say the same thing or be a little different, but I would think it was more likely to be the 31st. it is possible to have break through bleeds for the first 6 month of pregnancy if your periods are lighter than normal then it may be worth a visit to your doctor to check.
