Help, I Need Advice Please!!
Posted: 05-01-05 15:24pm

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex a little over a month ago. I ended up getting a morning after pill 2 days later and taking that. About a week later I had really bad abdominal pain and spotting. The abdominal pain only lasted about 4 hours, but the spotting lasted about 5 days.
Right now I am about 10 days late for my period. I have every symptom of being pregnant, but every pregnancy test i've took is negative. I know that whenever my mom was pregnant with me she had the same problem and even saw a doctor that told her she wasn't, but ended up finding out from another doctor that she had been pregnant with me the whole time. I am confused on what to do, I need some advice.

I would find it hard to beleive that you are pregnant only because the morning after pill is designed to make your uterus a hostile enviroment for the egg so that the egg can not attach to the lining of your uterus. But your egg might have burrowed in before you took the pill because you took it two days later. Im not quite sure what to tell you becasue if the home pregnancy tests are not working for you than there is no way to tell if your preggo. You need to go to the doctor and let then give you a blood test. All I can say is that you need to start acting like you are pregnant incase you are, like dont take certin medicine and stuff of that nature.
