a Question For the Ladies
Posted: 05-01-05 21:23pm

Greetings to all!!!

I have a questions for the ladies....I know of a woman that I confide in (and she confides in me also) and she told me a secret. She told me that a woman can just look a man and be with him for 5 minutes and tell if he will be her husband.

I find this statement a little contradictory because if that was so, what wold be the purpose of dating?

Could some of you kind ladies please comment on this statement....Is it really true?

Thank you sooooooo much!!!

Your Friend Is Nuts

I got married and divorced the same man because he was not for me now how was I suppose to know. When someone lies most people like to see the good in people so you tend to think people are telling you the truth your friend sounds like a girl who has not had any long term relationships. Sorry I agree with you you can tell in five min. If you would ever want to see this person again, but thats about it..

Not Gunna Happen

That sounds like a fairy tale not reality. I'm getting married in 11 months and when I first started dating my fiancee I just thought it was going to be fun. I was so sure it wouldn't last. He was older and everything I ever wanted I thought it was just gunna be a fun summer and then it would be over, and look at us now 3 years later and were getting married, I would have never guessed!!

Right, I hardly think so from my expereince, but some people say it has happened to them. I personally do not beleive it, unless it happended to me. But it sure sounds romantic!

Oh, definitely, every woman just knows. We also all know who's going to be the next president, what number you're thinking of, and the meaning of life. E.E

honestly, what kind of answer were you looking for? It sounds like total bs, but i'm not the one to ask.

Edit: anyone knows why it won't let me type like a literate person? Why is this thing changing what I type?!

A woman said to me once that after seeing me for ten seconds she knew she could marry me, not would.. We ended up actually dating a bit about 3 years after that but it didnt work out and she married a super guy later on.

Well in love anything can happen so I believe that of just giving a glance to someone in a mall and ending up married. I have heard every love story in the world. There are no rules. My experience is that some guys I can really tell from the begining that they are marriage material. Others and unfortunatetly most of the ones that have been previous bf's I haven't been able to tell by a first meet. What does seem to me is that 3 months gives me a very good idea of the guy.
