I was just wondering if anyone might have any advice about when the best time of day is to excersize to get the best results? I am new to the whole thing and am kind of clueless. Thank you

Supposedly the best time of day to workout is in the morning. This is because it boosts your metabolism into gear when you first wake up, since its much slower when you sleep. And by morning I mean up to 1 hour after you wake up. So if you wake up at 9 you should start to exercise before 10 for maximum results.

If you're not a morning person, don't let this discourage you. Working out at any time has such great benefits that it doesn't ultimately matter what time of day you work out.

The one,

thank's so much...The only reason I am discouraged at the moment is because I am expected to be lookin good in a bikini in month and a half and I want to know that I am doing everything right to make that happen in the quickest and healthiest way possible. That's all. Like what I should be eating and how much I should be eating and what kinds of excersizes I should be doing. I have had such great metabolism up until now that i'm just clueless about it all in general. If you have anymore advise it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.-t

For basics I would say just eat less, and get the calories you do eat from good sources such as whole grains instead of white, natural sugar (like fruits) over artificial sugar (candy bars), important essential fats like salmon and flaxseed oil instead of saturated fats and trans fats, etc.

There's this plan by david kirsch called the ultimate new york body plan which gets you about 10 lb or 2 dress sizes smaller in 2 weeks. It sounds crazy but the workout and diet are as crazy as what it claims. But it works, and for the most part its healthy. I know this because I did it. But you're going to have to follow it to the t for it to work.

He has another plan that I think is for over six weeks which seems perfect for your time schedule. I have never done that one but I am sure it yeilds about the same results in just a longer time.

Body for life is a good program for beginners who are not sure where to start with nutrition and workout routines. I wouldn't recommend doing something too ambitious right away because you'll easily burn yourself out and that could lead to a lot of frustration.
