Stabbing Breast Pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted: 07-30-03 23:09pm
Hey,
I have been on The birth Control
Shot for a little over 4 months now. My
breasts expereince Sharp Stabbing pains in
them Not always in one particular spot.
They usually only last about 30-45 minutes
but lately longer. It has been doing this
off and on for 3 to 4 weeks and seems to
be getting worste. I thought it was
caffine and i have cut off on that.
Tonight it has been just one sharp pain
for about 45 minutes and then very little
pain for like 5 then sharp for another 45
minutes. Sometimes I wake up in the Middle
of the night with sharp pains. I can not
sleep or move or anything when they hurt
bad i have to stay still and preferably
lay on my back. I have tried showers and
aspirin but it doesnt help. I hope you all
could help me out thank you.

I have had this as well started about a
week ago in my left breast it happens
mostly as night when i go to bed and in
the morning or when i bend right forward
. I can only describe it as a sensation of
a sharp needle being pushed from the
inside . I have the implant
contraception which carries the same
hormones as the shot so i wonder if this
is some thing to do with it , i am a bit
scared to go to my g.p .

Which type of contraceptive implants you
have?
When did you get the implant?
Breast tenderness is a side effect of
having contraceptive implant
(approximately 1 in 15 users experience
this as a side effect).
