Finger Twitch -

Hi, i'm a 36 yr. Old woman, who is healthy. Over the last several months, I noticed that I would get a twitch that starts from the knuckle on my right index finger, down to my wrist. It twitches for a few seconds then stops, or if I push on it, then it stops. It usually happens when i'm in bed sleeping or resting, however i've noticed it other times as well. Now i'm nervous becaus it happens every day. I remember hearing a story about michael j. Fox that his pinky finger wouldn't stop shaking and that's how he found out he had parkinson's. Mine is not a shake, it's more of a twitch ....Like when your eye twitches, that's what it feels like. Anyone have any answers or similar experience? I'm planning on seeing a Dr. Should I see a neurologist? Thx, lisaj
