Hi!
I have a situation I need some input on:
i've been on the pill for just over 3
years, and last month I started my pack on
a monday rather than my usual sunday (why?
No reason aside from that fact that I
like to make things for complicated for
myself... >:/ ) at the time I figured
it was no biggie because I wasn't getting
any- at all.
So then this month, about two pills into a
new pack (also started on a monday), I did
have unprotected sex. My assumption is
that since I had already gone through a
whole pack (even though my start date
changed) I should be ok. I don't recall
missing any pills that previous month.
Now I know i'm never 100% safe with the
pill, but i'm curious as to whether
changing the start date the month prior
will cause a huge problem?

It can initially.. When changing the date
of starting your pack you want to move it
up (earlier) versus later so you do not go
more than the 7 days without the hormones.
However since you've been on it for over
a month you shouldn't have any worries..
