Can I Be Pregnant After Tubal? Posted: 05-05-05 12:38pm
I had my tubes cut and burned 2 years ago.
My last period was march 18. No period
for the month of april and here we are on
may 5 th. I usulally have period between
28-35 days. That would make me 13-20 days
late!!!!! :shock:
the only symptoms I have are bloating and
sore boobies. But I have that with my
period too. I took a home pg test and it
came out negative. (i had also taken one
with my 1st child, and it was also
negative). Should I get a blood test
done? I don't want to be paranoid. So
what should I do? P.S. I am only 22 so
menopause isn't really the answer. Any
replies would be really helpful.

My husband is going to see if he can get
me a doc. Appt. Tomorrow. I took
another home pg test and it's still saying
negative. Has anyone had negative test
results. I don't know why I would be so
late. I'm not stressing.

Wow u had them cut and burned I never
heard of anyone getting pregnant after
having them cut but check with the dr u
may have a cist in there somewhere I hope
everything works out for u good luck keep

heard of someone who became pregnant after
her tubes were cut and burned. She even
has a website about it.

I had to edit this because I realized I
didn't quite answer your question. But
it's definitely possible to become
pregnant after tubal ligation.
I need to learn to read things better.

to get it reversed and not a high enough

I think it is possible to become pregnant
but the fetus would start to develop in
the tube. I knew of lady who was
pregnant but nearly died because of
internal bleeding when her tube was
ruptured.
If you tubes were just tied, you'd have a
higher chance of being pregnant.

and i'm currently trying to figure out
whats going on with me. My boobs have
been sore and leaking for a few months and
i've gain about 10lbs, but other than that
I have no other symptoms associated with
pregnancy. Anyone know what else would
cause that if i'm not pregnant?
Can anyone tell me what that website is?
I'd love to chaeck it out!

My sister got prego like that and almost
died!!! The baby will get to big and can
rupture the tubes

Researching the web, I found these sites
that would be helpful in answering your
questions about getting pregnant after a
tubal. I agree that after so many weeks,
it would be greatly painful if there were
a tubal pregnancy, but in rare instances,
a regular pregnancy can happen.
