Hi, i'm 20 years old. My fiancé and I
think I might be pregnant. It be our
first child so I don't know the signs.
My period is supposed to come wednesday
and I don't feel like I normally do when
it comes. I have regular periods that
come every month like clock-work.
I've felt very tired all week even though
i've got my normal amount of sleep.
My breasts have been more sensitive than
normal and my moods have been crazy.
I hardly ever cry, but twice in the last
week I broke down and cried for hardly any
reason. I've felt bloated and have
gas alot and i've been having to use the
restroom a lot more than normal. Also
certain smells are annoying me that
normally wouldn't.
So what do you think? Could I be?
If anyone can help me out, thanks.
I'm going to take a pregnancy test
tomorrow.

Hi jenny, well you are right to assume the
possibility that you could be pregnant, as
you are suffering all the common symptoms
of early pregnancy. The most common ones
are tiredness, nausea, sore or tender
breasts, sensitive nipples and frequent
urination, and so far you have mentioned
all of them. I had all those symptoms
aswell with this pregnancy, I was
surprised at how early the symptoms
actually started. I'm 3 months and 2
weeks pregnant and the only pregnancy
symptom I have at now is the frequent
urination, that never stopped. All the
other symptoms have subsided. I also have
a lot of gas everyday, especially in the
mornings when I wake up, that has been
happening for about the last month.
Certain smells I can't handle are some
stir fry sauces like black bean, and sweet
and sour, whereas normally I would eat
this stuff every 3rd night for dinner.
Chocolate really appeals right now,
although I have to contain myself, as I
could potentially stack on a lot of weight
during the pregnancy and it will be harder
to lose later. Hey let us know how you go
with the pregnancy test tommorrow.

Thank you suzy. I also got this weird
craving for pizza with chips and mustard
on it today. Never had that before. I
was also very hungry today and still am.
I've eaten a lot more than normal.
