Cesarean Pain After 1 Year
Posted: 05-07-05 12:50pm

My son was born may 28 of 2004. Due to complications I had an emergency c-section and had lots of healing problems. Due to fluid buildup in my right side they had to re-cut and squeeze out the fluid which was painful. The left side of the incision healed fine but the right side healed fully in about 3 to 4 months after the birth. I waited until I was comfortable enough to start exersizing to lose baby weight gain and when I do leg and thigh exersizes I feel an uncomfortable popping in my right side by my incision. I still have mild to light pain every now and then but its more severe when the monthly period comes. Is this normal? Has anyone ever experienced this kind of pain? Plz help!

Hi there! It could be scar tissue or a nerve that was cut and is growing back. I am no Dr. The best advice I have for you is to see a Dr. They left some surgical scissors and clamps in me one time. It could be a pulled muscle from working out.
Keep us posted on what you find out.
Sincerely,
sandy
