Terrie, I have two teens who have seizures
and we have fought this for over 6 years.
It is so hard to worry when the seizures
might hit and try to maintain your job.
Hoping you can find support and know that
you are not alone. This site does not get
a lot of traffic. You can try
ecommunities over at www.Efa.Org, there are
many people there who understand your
battle....

I have a lot of respect for people like
you! You get out in the world and at
least try, that is great!!! Some of
these people that have a lot less wrong
with them and are just lazy and feels that
the world owes them a living, I have nooo
respect for them and in my field, I see a
lot of this and they will not listen to
anyone. I too have a lot of medical
problems, not epilepsy, my Dr. Wants to
disable me and I say noway, I do not want
to end up like some of these lazy,
negative people. You are not crazy, do
not allow them to think you are as long as
you have your epilepsy somewhat under
control and take care of yourself and the
people that work aroound you are
understanding it is great. You should
get some responses here.
The very best to you!

I have respect for you too!
(((((hugs))))) my hubby has seizures. But
he can't hold a job right now. The only
job he's ever worked is emergency
medicine, as in on an ambulance, and
lately he's spent more time in teh back
than working on it! The companies around
here won't hire him because he can't
drive. He'd love to have a job.
