I have been suffering from pain (severe at
times) in my upper right side in my rib
area :cry: , I have had this pain for
nearly 2 years, but only started going to
the er when they got unbearable, I have
had an ultrasound,hida scan, ct scan and
recently an egd done. Still not showing
anything wrong with my gallbladder, but
yet blood test indicate that I have
gallbladder disease....And now I am staing
very sick at my stomach and having pains
in my side daily.....Has anyone else had
all these test and show nothing wrong with
the gallbladder and then later on it end
up being the gallbladder, please someone
let me know something i'm going nuts with
all this pain and sickness

I had the ultrasound and it showed an
inflammed gb wall with polyps. I had the
hida scan done and it came back normal.
The Dr.S didn't think it was my gb to
blame. I had to convince them it was my
gb causing my symptoms (nausea, aching
under right rib cage, bloating). Finally
after all other tests came back normal
they decided to remove it. I had it out
on march 29. The pain and bloating are
gone and the nausea is less severe(i also
have gastritis).

Hi,i have been having very bad upper right
side pains.
The pain started after I had my daughter
that was a year and 1/2 ago .It doest hurt
during the day,it starts about right when
I go to bed .It hurts so bad that I can
not sleep at all.The pain starts at the
end of my chest to my hip bone and is only
on the right side .This pain gets so bad
at nights that I take like 3-4 baths late
at night it also causes my lower and upper
back to hurt.Please help me if u can I not
sure what to do

I had my daughter 6 months ago and had
what I assumed was just indigestion now I
am frequently having pains on my right
side the pain is so severe sometimes it
travels across my whole back width. The
pain is directly next to my breast about
as wide as my hand and my back pain is
usually at the same level as my breast.
I'm actually awake right now due to some
pain. It always seems to happen at night
while I am sleeping or as I am going to
bed.
Anyone have any advise or known causes?
My temp is usually about 99.7 which isnt
odd for me.

Pain Upper Right Side Front And Back 2yrs Posted: 01-30-06 23:00pm
Hi, I have been having pains for over 2
yrs now in my upper right side back and
front. I have been to 3 dr's have x-rays
ct's ultra scans and blood tests but all
come back ok. I am about to go for more
x-rays and another ct tomorrow and I am
hoping all is ok. My pain can vary from
sharp to just dull, it does not keep me
awake at night and most times if I am busy
I do not notice it untill I am thinking
about it. On the other hand when it
decides to play up bad it goes all day. I
have not had to take medication for it.
Sometimes I wonder if the doctor's really
know what they are doing or are they just
stumbling around in the dark. All I want
to know is that it is not cancer.
It's good to know i'm not alone :)

I have had this upper right side pain
right under my ribs for about 4 months
now. I had a partial hystorectomy in
dec. Of 05. Ever since then it feels
like I have a tool or something inside me.
But I have had the xray and sonogragm
and then a ct scan all came back great.
Unsure what it could be and yes the doctor
is even and the I just dont know stage. I
am wondering if its my imagination, but
the pain is there and it sometimes is
worse than other times. At night when I
sleep I do not feel it at all nor does it
keep me awake. Only in the day time does
it bother me. Its strange reading all
the messages here and no one seems to have
an answer. Help

I've had deep pain under my right rib off
and on for 2 years also. Now it walks
around to lower back as well. Tested
gall bladder kidneys stomach etc. Colon
lots of expensive test. Then I stumbled
across a diagram of spinal/nerve map. And
fond a possible solution, since the dr's
just told me I was fine. T11 and t12
compressions cause deep pain in the area
as well as chronic constipation and all of
my symptoms. I remember having pain
in the back of my left leg for a time that
was caused by pressure on l4, so this
made sense to me. I've started seeing a
chiropractic specialist and the pan is
aleady better. Wish I had all the money
all those test cost, back again.

hepatitis, especially since hepatitis
affects the liver
