If you have genital warts or hpv will it
deffinetly show up in a pap smear? Or
could a pap smear miss it?

Pap smears are not meant to diagnose
std's. However, hpv can be diagnosed
through a pap smear. That is how mine
was diagnosed. My pap smear came back
with hgsil. High grade squaemous
intraepithilial lesions which hpv causes.
As for gential warts, it seems to me like
warts are more visible so your doctor
would probably notice them during the
examination. But don't be fooled. You
can carry hpv for 2 years, to 15-20 years
before showing any symptoms or signs. So
if you have slept with many people, it
does not mean the last person you were
with, is the person you caught it from.
