I've just been reading previous posts and
someone has mentioned that an untreated
gallbladder problem may result in pancreas
problems. Can anyone shed some more light
on this? What sort of problems can happen
and do they self-fix once the gb is
removed?

They might be referring to pancreatitis
which is inflammation of the pancreas that
can be caused by gallstone(s) lodged in
the pancreatic duct. When this happens
the juices and enzymes become backed up
and can attack the pancreas.
I'm sure removing the gallbladder will
help the problem if it hasn't gotten to a
stage where problems like diabetes can
occur.

Thanks...I had a small feeling that there
might be more to it than that. Glad to
hear there's not.
