Irritation?
Posted: 05-12-05 20:18pm

A couple of months ago I included this problem in a post for a questional pimple which turned out really to just be a pimple. Anyways, i've had this problem for a year now and it seems to have not gone away :( . Only on the right side of my outer labia area, like the fleshy area close to the inner vaginal fold, i'm itchy. Like sometimes we all get a regular itch here and there but when I scratch it even a little bit, I will get itchier. This doesn't happen with the other lip... Lately, it got really itchy so I scratched it a lot (bad thing to do since now it's kinda tender and has mild abrasions) and it's got a couple bumps---probably from the itching. It's not like open wounds, they're just like irritation bumps from scratching. (mind you they're in the fleshy area not the area that grows hair.) I think it might be a yeast infection but I don't get painful urination or anything. I'm still a virgin and have had no sexual relations and I don't shave or wax so...What do you guys think it might be?

Go to the gyno. Your skin could just be irritated from soaps, even maybe your panties. Or it could be a bacteria and scratching it could spread the infection. But I say go to the doctor. You don't have to have sex to get an infection down there!
