Lumps In Lower Back - Extremly Painful
Posted: 06-17-05 15:12pm

I too have lumps on the left side of my spine and it's extremely painful. One has been there about a year and i've noticed 3 more have formed under the one already there. The pain stretches all the way across my lower back a lot but for the most part the pain stays with the lumps and shoots down my left leg to my big toe (burns as if my leg is on fire). When I noticed the first lump it was small and hard to find so my doctor never found it and sent me to a bone specialist who in turn said it was degenerative disc disease. Now, being months later, i've noticed the old lump has become larger with no problem to find and 3-4 more lumps are now under it. My pcp was closed today for a staff meeting so i'll see them tomorrow. If they tell me something new I will surely post it up here.

Lump On Back
Posted: 11-03-05 20:07pm

I too have a lump that started as a small pea, but I noticed it is getting larger. I have an appointment with the doctor on the 14 of this month. Please let me know what your doctor says. Mine does not have any pain associated with it, but know tumors run in my family, I am concerned

the doctor at first did'nt seemed concerned and said not to worry, but I don't like the size getting larger.
