Hi, I am 25, and a mom of three, one is my
husbands son for his first marriage, and
two are ours together. I had them when I
was 19, and 21. I miscarried just last
year in july and it broke my heart. We
have been ttc (trying to concieve) since,
and it hasn't worked. I am getting to
were I think there may be a problem. :(
I directly attribute my miscarriage to
use of the contraceptive depo provera, the
shot. My sister in law miscarried four
babies due to side effects from this shot.
She had to have fertility treatments to
become pregnant with her last child. I
was off the depo for a little under a year
when I became pregnant. But I hadn't had
a regular cycle of periods, and I still
haven't. :shock:
looking for advise.

I dont know if this is good advise but I
was on the depo shot for 2 years. Before
the depo shot I had 2 kids and now that I
have been off it for about 5-6 years, I
havent had any children. I have been
trying for that 5-6 years. My doctor told
me that it shouldnt have any thing to do
with the depo. :roll: its kind of funny
how you can have kids with no problem
until you go on that shot for a while :x
but then again I have cysts on my ovarys.
One is really small, the doctor isnt
worryed about that one, but the other was
or is very big. He said depending on the
cyst I have on my ovary thay may be why im
not getting pregnant.
Have you seen a doctor about your ovarys?

I am pregnant again. But the drs told me
thursday to prepare to miscarry again.
:cry: I am not sure if I am miscarrying or
not.......But I do kinda think it has to
do with that shot. My sister in laws was
not directly related to the shot, it was
related to a vitamin and pregestrone
defficiency from the shot. One of those
bizare side effects. :roll:
