Ok I have been reading only a couple of the posts and some people here really don't understand how to lose weight for good and to be honest its no one's fault it is what we are subject to that makes to think that dieting is the only way to lose weight. Well I have another way and I will share it with you.
First of all to those of you who read the diet magazines, think of this for a moment. If the people who write in these magazines where to put a diet in them that actually worked, they would end up with no job because the diets would work, people would lose weight and there would be no need to buy diet magazines anymore. These people are not that stupid to throw away there jobs like that so they advertise shorterm weight lose so that when you put back on the weight which will happen you will again go to buy these magazines and so it will never end. Lose weight, put back on weight, buy diet magazines and lose the weight again etc. So these diets are really a waste of time and are not what you should be reading if you are serious about losing weight.
So now to the actual weight loss. It is a fact that people who are overweight tend to eat less then people who are a normal weight because those who are over weight but eat less, there bodies retain all of the fat and liquid because it thinks there is a famine because there is so little food being consumed. Whereas people who eat regulary but eat smaller portions, they can even lose weight because there metobalism is so much faster and it breaks down the food quicker and it doesn't need to retain fats or liquid because it knows it will be feed again.
I would really recommend eating around 6 times a day but small portions you won't lose weight if you eat 6 huge meals aday and a little light exercise will help too.
No starving, no dieting, no cutting calories because I guarentte you that if you do lose weight it will not stay off for long and you will be back where you were before.
This is just some advice I was given and I thought it might be useful to some people here.
I wish you all the best of luck, stay fit, stay healthy but most importantly be happy.

My Plan
Posted: 10-15-06 10:38am

I eat about six meals a day...Well, 3 small meals, and 3 snacks in between. I am never very hungry, nor overly full. I eat lots of whole grains, veggies, fruits, small amounts of nuts, oats...Stuff like that. Organic foods. I have lost about 10 lbs. Now, and I have never been healthier. I go to the gym 5 days a week. That's my plan. I also include shakes in my plan consisting of fruit and small amounts of whey to help heal my muscles. Smile
