My daughter who is 16 just found out she
has a a bone spur in or around her
nose,also she has 2 cyst's in her sinus
area and is causeing her very bad
headache's has anyone heard of this very
worried parents

Bone spurs do not hurt anything unless
they are rubbing up against something and
irritating it.. In which case she may
need it to be removed (which is a very
simple procedure unless it's in a very
difficult location). As for the cysts..
They aren't life threatening or anything,
but if they are causing her discomfort you
will want to keep an eye on it. Cysts
are common and can pop up anywhere. I
have two in my left leg (in the bone) and
one in my wrist, but since they dont'
bother me much I never had anything done
about them. Depending on where they are,
the doctor may be able to remove them.
If it's giving her that much discomfort,
discuss the options with her doctor.
They would know better as to if they can
remove them.
