hi my name is tia . I also
wanted a different name for my son , so
when I named him I realized the name I had
picked wasnt so different after all. I
named him logan and there happened to be 2
other boys named logan that were born
there that day!.....I love the name parker
its a very strong name and I think it
works great for either a boy or girl.
And not to be mean or anything but when I
read the name atticus I thought of a greek
god. But ya know kids names are so
different now ....Go with your
instincts....Maybe even wait to see what
the baby looks like before you give he or
she a name . See if the face fits the
name. Well I hope I was some help
.....Good luck with everything!

I like neither. Hunter and archer are
much less common and sound cooler/better
to me.

I vote for parker if only given those
choices. Atticus is okay. I like the
uniqueness of it. Atticus for the boy!
What do you think of sydney for a girl?
First of all congratulations on your
pregnancy, or at least it sounds that way.
They sound like all great names for boys,
myself, I like names that you can shorten
or change a little, especially when you
get upset with them, of course, I realize
you can use their middle names especialy
for girls but boys too. My preferance
for a girls name is softer, slightly old
fashioed names, yet changing them slightly
maybe, such as rebecca(becca),
candace(candy), kimberly(kim), of course,
caty, tammy, and sarah but of course I am
sure they are too old fashioned for you,
but it is just the way I feel and I am a
lot older and it is your choice, I just
hope the pregnancy goes well! How far
along are you?
Good luck to you and yours. Keep us
posted on what you decide and how
everything goes through good and bad days
as this is a good place to come to vent or
whatever.

I love atticus, great name, and great
literary significance! The other 2 names
you mentioned just sound like surnames, if
they have family significance, go for it!
If not, i'd say don't use them! There was
a little boy at my son's school named
atticus!

I love names that are different. Atticus
might be a hard name to nick name...He
might be called at....Or cus. I named a
daughter afton and nick name her affie or
af. My other daughter is named
brookelyn...Nicked brooke. For a girl
i'd always thought ladia would be
pretty....Pronounced la deea. Had a
cousin with that name. I know you are
having fun trying to figure this out.
Oh, I know a parker, hunter and i've just
recently heard of sailor. I also think
bailey is pretty for a girl.
