I have been having periods for about 6
years but i've never had one like this.
Is it normal to have a heavy period for a
couple of days, stop for a couple of days
and then start bleeding again 2 days
later?

Yeah I have that all the time, if you want
lighter period go on the pill

although going on the pill may lessen the
degree of bleeding, there are also other
undesirable side effects to be concerned
with. For example, weight gain and
headaches. But what I want to know is,
when you say "stop" bleeding, do you mean
completely or is there still "spotting?"
and when you "start bleeding again," is it
heavy, light or just spotting? And for
how long when you start again?
