Hello, everyone, i'm new. My names alycia
(aleesha). Im almost 16 years old. I
have a drinking problem. I really need
help too. I started drinking when I was
about 13, and ive been heavily drinking
since I was 14 1/2. I need help, I really
do. I'm aware that I have a problem with
my use, but now what? What can I do to
stop? My parents want to send me to a 28
day program thing. I'm scared, because I
don't really know what to expect. I'm
afraid of the recovory cycle. I've heard
bad things about people that are
recovorying. Can anyone please help me.
Your opinions would mean a lot to
me....Thank you.... :?

Alycia
hello and welcome.
Count yourself lucky. You can see that
alcohol is interfering in your life. You
would be surprised at how many people,
young or old won’t or can’t see the
simple truth of what’s happening in
their lives. Count yourself blessed.
I think I agree with your parents. A 28
day rehab might be just the ticket. What
I suggest is that you approach this in a
positive light. Take everything the rehab
people have to offer as tools you can use
in your recovery. Fear of the unknown
isn’t anything every one of us hasn’t
faced when we first started setting sober.
Don’t let fear of the unknown stop you
from getting your life back. Your life is
worth too much.
Take the tools these professionals will
put at your disposal and use them. Stay
open minded to new ideas, and stay as
willing to grow as you can be.
Your job now is to report on what happens
in your life. You realize that other
young women are reading this and feel as
you feel. They want to know what happens
to you, and if it is a real good outcome,
they may try it themselves.
Best of luck in your fantastic journey.
Do it like your life depends on it, and
you will be amazed before you are halfway
through.
