Should I Trust the Tests?
Posted: 05-21-05 14:03pm

Ok, I posted a few weeks ago about possibly getting precum inside of me from my boyfriend fingering me (otherwise, we used a condom while having sex). Everyone told me not to worry, but of course I did, last month my period started on the 18th. I thought that it actually came a little early last month (was expecting it around the 22nd) it hasn't started yet, i've taken a pregnancy test everyday since the 18th, the "first response" tests, and all have been negative..Am I just late because i'm stressing? Or is my body just going back to normal? I'm freaking out - could being on antibiotics or fluoxetine influence a home pregnancy test? Any advice would be great!

If youve taken several pregnancy tests and they have all come back with the same result, and you still feel uneasy, make an appt or go to a walk in clinic. They'll help you figure it out. Stress can also cause you to delay your period. Ive had my period delayed for 3 months and I thought I was pregnant, it was all cause by stress. Just try to relax and if you really feel like the tests youre taking are wrong, just do as I mentioned, thats the only other way to know. Good luck

Its all in your mind. When the tests have reported negative then there's nothing to worry about. The pregnancy test kits available are hardly faulty. I've never heard about anyone who got negative results from it and then went out to find later that they're pregnant. So cheer up!
