How soon can you take a hpt? I'm not late
yet (my period is due tomorrow) and I
really doubt I am pregnant but I just want
to ease my mind. I've been having
cramping the last week or so and last
night it was a little worse then before,
kinda feels like it does just before I
start my period so I mean with the
cramping and all I doubt i'm pg. I just
want to know for sure so I don't have to
have this nagging feeling any more. Even
if I was i'd only be like just over 3
weeks... Way too soon to have any
symptoms right? Is it to soon to test
too?

In case anyone does reply to this, I took
hpt tests. The first one messed up and
took a while for the line to show up but
when it did it read negative. But when I
looked at it closer I could see a really
really faint, very light second line.
However, since the test was messed up I
disregarded it and took the second one a
while later. This time the result came
within the time limit and was negative.
But considering what the first test read,
do you think theres still a chance that I
am pregnant or is it the second result
that is correct? I guess all I can do is
wait for my period to come now, but any
opinions or imput would be greatful.

If you havent missed your period yet I
would wait and if you do miss it then take
a test. I took a test a week after I
missed my period and the first test came
up with nothing-there were no lines! I
was like dammit, made me mad cause I spent
money on a test that didn't work.I took
another one and sure enough, I was
pregnant. You could still be pregnant,
not saying you couldnt be, just wait for a
couple days after you miss your period to
take a test again so you know the test
will be correct. I know you probably
anxious to find out, but just give it a
little time and dont waste money on those
darn tests. Ive spent so much money on
tests whenever I thought I could be
pregnant and this time, I waited to buy a
test and im pregnant, kinda weird. Good
luck!

yeah you can take test a
couple days before your missed period but
it's more better just to wait until you
miss a period.. I found out I was
pregnant before I even missed my period
like 3 or 4 days before.. I went to the
clinic to get on birth control and the
took a urine sample and what do you know a
positive pregnancy test.. I am now 22
weeks and can't wait..

I'm going to wait until the end of the
week and if I dont have my period by then
test again. It was due yesterday, but i'm
never usually on time anyway. If it wasnt
for what the first test read I wouldn't
even be worrying about it. I mean i've
had cramping the last week, some times its
really bad but most of the time its just
mild. I haven't had any symptoms (but
then if I was i'd only be coming up on 4
weeks). The only real thing is i'm always
thirsty and have been really really tired
I could sleep for hours and hours and
still feel tired. My breats arent sore or
anything, and I havent had any real
nausea. I've dry heaved a few times but
thats about it. But today at work I had
to run to the bathroom to pee like how
many times, and i'm usually not like that.
It's all just driving me crazy I just
want to know for sure, you know.
