I'm 14yrs of age, and although i've never
suffered bullying (well, none that really
bothered me) about my slightly sticky-out
ears, it totally affects my confidence.
I've read around about the op, and it
seems I can handle the physical and
emotional pain. I just have a few q's and
i'd rather people who've had the op, will
be able to answer. :?
1)i've heard you have to sleep on your
back, for how long?
2)i've heard the ear can "pop" out of
place, if not careful. Is this just a few
weeks after the op, that this can happen,
or will I have to careful for the rest of
my life.
3)the head bandage - how long is it on
for? I've heard a week.
4)the head band you have to wear at night
time, after the op, how long do you have
to wear it?
I'd really love for somone to answer these
questions, as i'm terrified. I've been
considering the op since I was about 9,
and now I think it's time I did it.

because i've no idea how my "new ears"
will look.
